Program 

ASLY International Training Center (AITCI) is a newly school that exclusively offer course for Central Sterile Service (CSS Technician). This course included in healthcare sector and comprise of two programs; One year study and two years study. And since AITCI is affiliated by IAHCSMM, more working opportunities abroad is waiting.

AITCI believe that the success and failure of hospital surgery team depend on the Central Sterile Service, then it goes without saying that the quality of service provided by the central sterile service technicians is determined by the quality of training, orientation and dedication of the entire central service team.

Furthermore, our training center will also promote proper sterilization and disinfection in all healthcare facilities nationwide.

Training

The training program is provided by ASLY International Training Center, Inc. which includes classroom, skills lab and clinical experience classes in the hospital setting. The curriculum is based on modular competencies according to international standard that demands practical learning sessions. This is competency based training accredited by TESDA.

The Central Sterile Service (CSS Technician) course offers two programs:

1. 12 months study consists of 960 hours classroom instruction and skills lab and 400 hours on-the job training in hospital settings. Completion on this program can be qualified to work as CSS Technician II.

2. 24 months study that consists of 1200 hours classroom instruction and skills lab and 500 hours On-the job training in hospital settings. Completion on this program can be qualified to work as CSS Technician I.

This course is designed to introduce the student to work in a healthcare setting with emphasis based on requirements and competencies to be successful as an entry-level to Central Sterile Supply Technician. Course content includes, but are not limited to, identifying and communicating with members of the surgical operating team, describing regulations and standard expectations, promoting safety within the workplace, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, infection control procedures, sterilization processes, decontamination procedures, and a basic understanding of the transmission of disease. Student competency includes collecting, transporting, cleaning and decontamination of used items, inspecting, packing and sterilization of unsoiled items and storing, distributing and conducting inventory to all processed items.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be eligible to sit for the International certification examination through IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management) but payment of 150$ for examination will be shoulder by the student. (Optional)

What is Central Sterile Supply Technician?

CSS Technician is a valuable healthcare team member that decontaminates, sterilizes, and maintains instruments, equipment and supplies that are used in healthcare procedures and surgeries. They keep detailed records and follow specific procedures to protect the patients and healthcare staff from exposure to infection. CSS Technicians usually work 40 hours per week. Since hospitals provide care 24 hours per day every day of the year, some CSS Technicians will be scheduled for night and weekend shifts

Every hospital and clinic requires central sterile unit to prevent infection. And CSU will not be operated without qualified CSS Technician. Mostly, Certified CSS Technicians finds job abroad where they can hire direct or through agency
